Top Ten Tuesday: Instragram Style

Today’s Top Ten blog hop over at Mom2MemphisandRuby is all about your ten favorite Instagram/cell phone photos.  It took me all of about five seconds to decide this was definitely one I wanted in on!  I never really thought I took all that many pictures, but then I hear people doing “challenges” where they need to take one picture a day for a month or so, and it kind of makes me laugh.  I probably take at least ten pictures a day, every day.  And that’s just on an average day.  If we are doing something fun or I am trying to get a “good” shot, I can get upwards of about two hundred.  I think I need a twelve step program, and I surely need a larger hard drive on both my computer and phone.

Anyway, I chose my favorite Instragram photos from the last few months because those are the ones I had readily available on my phone.  I hope you enjoy!

These are in chronological order rather than order of importance, and you will notice that there are many more pictures of the Goose than of Magoo.  This is because Magoo has decided that she doesn’t want pictures taken.  Ever.  I pretty much have to bribe her or trick her into posing, so I usually only do that if I’m about to take out the good camera.  I keep telling her one day she will look back on this time and wish she had more pictures.  She just says, “No thank you.”

1.  They had the most beautiful tulips at the mall a couple of weeks ago.

2. The Goose in the cart at the Jewel parking lot.  She was so proud of herself for getting to sit in the big girl cart.

3.  Magoo smelling the tulips at the mall.  (This was one of those times that I tricked her by snapping a photo when she wasn’t looking.)

4.  This is Quinn, aka the problem child.  She has more energy than a pack of monkeys high on caffeine, but she’s cute.  Even when she’s getting into trouble.

5.  This is one of my favorite pictures of Sadie.  It reminds me of why I am so jealous of cats.  I don’t think I have ever, in my entire life, looked this comfortable and relaxed.  Isn’t she pretty?

6.  I wish my high chair looked better in pictures because half of my pictures of the Goose are of her in her high chair!

7.  French toast colored with food coloring.  This picture makes me feel like a cool Pinterest mama.

8.  These are my teeth.  After ten years of (failed) orthodontics and almost as long fighting with my insurance company, and the MOST PAINFUL PROCEDURE OF MY LIFE I finally have awesome top teeth.  I’m probably going to take lots of pictures of them 🙂  This is a few hours after they were done, so my lip is still a bit swollen here.

9.  My girls dancing together.  This is probably my favorite photo of the last year or so.

10.  The Goose’s birthday spread.  She was terrified of it.  Screamed her head off.  She wouldn’t go anywhere near the cake that took me hours to make and cost me a small fortune in frosting.  Oh well.  It still looked cute.
